Renewable Newstead, the volunteer group that’s been working to get a solar farm built at Newstead, is excited to be moving closer to a positive outcome.
They’re hoping to soon announce a construction contract has been signed and the date that construction will begin.
Meantime, Renewable Newstead wants expressions of interest from those who might wish to become customers of the company, Flow Power, that will build the farm and retail the electricity it generates.

They need to know that enough locals intend to sign up to buy their energy from the solar farm, before signing a construction contract..
